That time when you felt the need to revisit Orange County and it’s just as brilliant as ever and Lizzy Caplan has a bit part as a member of the “Party Girls.”

I get the feeling that Dunst would appreciate this.
She inspires me in all endeavors.
Caplan: We were just talking about how there are some other similar-vein movies coming out, girl-themed comedies. And a lot of them are like, “Oh yeah, that was well-received and it’s a really cute movie and it was really well-done and the performances were great, yay yay yay!” Our movie is either making you really happy or pissing you off. And to me, it’s the only kind of movie I ever want to make.
For the record, this movie made me really happy. The portrayal of self-loathing and fear and the ramifications of that in these women…superb. Not to mention it’s fucking hilarious.
Kudos to Leslye Headland and her incredible cast on Bachelorette. It’s amazing.
I’ve never known a girl like you before
Now, just like in a song from days of yore
Here you come a-knocking, knocking on my door
And I’ve never met a girl like you before
When I tell Amy Poehler that her Parks and Recreation co-star Adam Scott is taking me to his storage unit in an isolated industrial complex down by the L.A. River, she is delighted: “Ha! That sounds like the last few hours of your life before he kills you.” She also says that when Scott invites people to see his “storage unit,” he usually takes them around the corner and pulls his pants down.
There’s something about Adam Scott that is simultaneously funny and familiar. I rarely find myself laughing hysterically at his performances, but he’s consistently funny in a way an old friend can be counted on to make you chuckle. He’s incredible on Parks and Rec, Friends With Kids, and Bachelorette.
