Don’t even get me started on privilege in the LGBT community.
Thanks to Marc for this pic.
1) The fact that the post was written by someone who claims to be a doctor
2) The missed opportunity to include a photo of him actually wearing women’s jeans
3) First error: “woman’s clothing”
4) The implication that a man who wears women’s jeans may have gender identity issues
5) Italicizing of a quote that was already placed in quotation marks
6) The fact that the quote answers the question around which the entire post is focused
7) The random switch of focus from gender identity to sexual orientation (and the ignorance of the differences between them)
8) Second error: “there relationship”
9) The implication that someone with “pretty conservative” views cannot have gender identity issues and/or be homosexual
10) Second italicizing of a quote that was already placed in quotation marks
11) Third error: “saying in reference his future with”
12) Stupid rhetorical question—about what? His gender identity? Sexual orientation? Relationship? Views on marriage?—that ends the post (which began with another stupid rhetorical question)
13) Offensive generalization that has nothing to do with gender identity, which is what the post was supposed to be about
14) Rock Hudson
I’m not sure this could be more offensive.
